Fall Fast Foward

Temperley London Pre-fall 2010.
New wardrobe staples.

This is knitwear label Pringle of Scotland's pre-fall 2010 collection. Do I sense a major military revival for fall next year? Come to think about it, I think military has never left the runway to begin with.

Dear Uncle Karl has swept me off my feet once again! This is darn tasty. Shanghai as the inspiration and backdrop of the Chanel Pre-fall 2010 collection. I think this is the best adaptation of oriental by a European designer. John Galliano's garish oriental adaptation in 90's screamed FREAK but this... this is CHIC! I love how old-Shanghai and the costumes of the ethnic minorities in China were incorporated into the designs. If I were some tycoon's wife or daughter, I'd place my orders immediately. Sadly, I am neither, just a poor soul living near the equator. All I can do is LUST and wait for Topshop or some other factory in China to spin them off.
If this is what Chanel Pre-fall is like, I can't wait for its fall collection next year.

Hello!

I'm on a hiatus of some sort and won't be back till the 27th. I'll continue to post if I can, wherever I am and whenever I can steal some wi-fi. The reception here's terrible! I can't even get a text out without having to try more than twice. Can't light up either, bags will be checked, don't want to get into any trouble! Had to give my last cancer sticks away. Today is the first time in many months that I've had proper, regular meals. I haven't gotten bored and I hope I won't. I came here to look for something and to find answers. Pray that I do.

I will come home.
